Holdenby House

I am E.S. On 7th of june we went to holdenby house. It took us about 30 minutes to get there. When we arrived we were greeted by a lady and a man. They werent very nice because in victorian times adults let the children do all the work. If the children werent well mannered, they would wack you with a stick. They introduced their selves as mrs Bumbridge, the owner of the house and mr Wret who takes care of all the peasants.

Then another lady came out and said that she was called mrs Crumpit, the head cook. After a while they took us in and gave us all a tag which said our last name and what work we will be doing. I was the bell boy. the bell boy was the 3rd last important person. When someone rings a bell i had to work outwhere the bell was ringing from and tell the hall boy to sent a servant.
