On Monday 7th/6 we went to a place called Holdenby House its a old Victorian House where the Victorians used to live. It was really cool we had to dress up in Victorian dresses and costumes we went by coach and there was this mean lady called Mrs.Bumbridge and she wore black.Then, there was a man called Mr.Rhett they was mean. After that, there was Mrs.Crumpet she was the cook who was in charge of the kitchen.
We had to do everything for them (chores) but it was good then Mrs.Bumbridge gave us a tour around the house and showed us what maid we were and our jobs. Also when we went to the kitchen we had to have this disgusting drink called ''Purge'' we had to be purged to take out our flu and germs.
After, we went to have lunch and we got to have a photo in the garden and then we got to see the owner of the house Lady Annaly she always wore a black veil because she had blood patches on her face and she didn't want anyone to stare at her. Finally, we got told EVERYTHING was fake!! And Lady Annaly was Miss.Clowes and Mrs.Bumbridge was a kind lady and so were the other people.
We had a brilliant time and I would like to go there again if I could
